A moody, sound-focused workspace for an indie audio engineer looking for texture, depth, and silence.
Burntwood Audio needed a workspace that works as hard as their tracks. Their list was clear:
Acoustically mindful layout
Dark, immersive mood for deep edits
Organic textures like raw wood & fabric
Hidden cabling for clean tech flow
A space that visually matches the sound
We treated the space like a track—layered, tuned, powerful.
We used acoustic panels wrapped in wool, heavy drapes, and stone-washed wood for a textured feel. The lighting was zoned—dimmed in the mix area, focused on the equipment wall. A reclaimed wood desk grounded the space, while floating gear shelves kept tools within arm's reach.
Now the studio breathes. It’s quiet, grounded, and sharp—built to let the sound take over.
The space breathes differently now. My focus improved, my energy shifted—everything feels more me.
